The Alabama Southern Bankruptcy Court and a Sub-Committee of the Mobile Bankruptcy Bar  are seeking public comment in connection with the
implementation of a NEW Notice of Dismissal and Order Dismissing process.

The forms contain all the possible choices.  However, when the Notice of Dismissal or Order Dismissing are generated in the system only the reason that applies to the applicable issue will appear on the official documents docketed in the case.

The forms will be filed in association with a new procedure for the Clerk's office.  Instead of filing a Show Cause Orders when certain documents are missing or the filing fee has not been paid the court will be sending a Notice of Dismissal requiring the issue identified be corrected within 14 days or an Order Dismissing the Case will be entered with a 90-day injunction period.
